Briean Day is a pianist, singer-songwriter, and seasoned composer with roots in Louisiana and a life shaped by global influences. For over 25 years, she has been crafting music, collaborating with producers and musicians across Louisiana and Texas. Her eclectic style draws inspiration from renowned artists like Fiona Apple and Chappell Roan, as well as indie favorites such as Eisley, Kasey Chambers, and The Crane Wives.
From an early age, Briean honed her skills performing in choirs and musical theater productions at both state and national levels. In 2005, she expanded her artistry as a lyric ghostwriter for multiple bands in the Austin, TX music scene.
Briean’s talent took center stage in 2018 when she won Galveston’s Got Talent. As part of her victory, she produced, guest-starred in, and wrote the theme song for the series Transfolk, created by Carly D. Nation.
In 2023 and 2024, Briean served as the lead songwriter for Dry County Orchestra, an emerging band currently in the early stages of recording. Looking ahead, she is set to release a solo EP in 2025, featuring her original compositions.
